Energy Access Products: Understanding Investor Preference
The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) is hosting a product structure workshop for investment products in the clean energy access market. Open to fund- and direct- investors, as well as service providers interested in furthering their knowledge of product development, this interactive session will examine in-development investment products, seeking feedback from a set of diverse asset owners and advisors on the desirability of various product features for their or their clients' portfolios.
The goals of the session are to:

Inform the design of sound clean energy access investment products by gaining more clarity around investor preferences and requirements;

Encourage investors to be more transparent and explicit about their requirements for investment products that target the clean energy access sector;

Educate investors about the range of possible clean energy access investment products, showing options beyond the current market landscape; and
-
Test investor interest in specific products that have potential to gain traction and be capitalized in 2018 and beyond.
