Leaders in Dallas Tackles Impact Investing

Impact investors in the Dallas area convened for BigBang! Dallas in October, an event organized by Social Venture Partners Dallas. The convening educated attendees about impact investing generally—what it is and how to use investments creatively to pursue a social mission, leveraging all possible capital. Organizers noted that there are more than $2 billion of assets under management in Dallas area foundations, to underscore the market potential. 

 

Speakers included actress Eva Longoria, Turner Impact Capital CEO Bobby Small, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Robert Kaplan, and the IMPACT CEO Abigail Noble.
