For impact investors with missions to support social entrepreneurs, Echoing Green has published a white paper that suggests how to accelerate capital deployment in the category. Its Portfolio Segmentation Report identifies both enterprise specific and market-level challenges that can limit or prevent transactions. Echoing Green includes current and anticipated funding needs from enterprises, the top barriers in accessing capital, desired support needs, and case studies. The report was based on feedback from Echoing Green Fellows, a set of social entrepreneurs. It was produced in partnership with Enclude, an advisory firm offering capacity and capital solutions, with support from Mission Investors Exchange members MacArthur and Kresge Foundations.
